Getting ready

We are here safe and sound in Guangzhou china. We arrived at the garden hotel around 10:00 Sunday night. Our hotel is beautiful and our room is great. Emma made herself right at home taking a bath and laying with playdough   Our guide is John and he is so nice. We are lucky enough to be traveling with a family from New York who we connected with though fb. Their daughter is the same age as Ella and is also from the same provenience. We work up this morning around 5:30. We went to breakfast and met with a couple other families. Our guide Took us around town to show us some restaurants and the super market. We are now back at the room waiting to get Ella at 2:00.

We are leaving on a jet plane.

Tomorrow we leave to go to China to pick up our little peanut. So much has happened in these past two months since we were matched with Ella Mei. We were matched on the re-release on Thursday we submitted our LOI on Sunday and received our LOA on Wednesday. Wednesday was July 17 which was also Ella Mei birthday. So with much gusto from mom I got her paperwork ready and we waited for all our approvals. We need a travel approval by September 6 to be able to travel before the closures in China due to their holidays. Every day I contacted my agency asking is there anyway we can get travel approval quicker. After receiving our update we found out that our little peanut Wasn't doing too good she has not grown since her nine month update. So we needed to get to China ASAP.
We all are praying once our little peanut gets some tendor loving care she will thrive! So we will have gotcha day sept 17 at 2:00.

Introducing Our Little Peanut Ella Mei Millee Inch

I started a new blog for our newest little peanut!  We found our July 11 around 9ish from a text message from our social worker that she locked a file for a "cutie".  We would have to wait till 10:30 before she could send the file over because she was trying to lock files for other families.  So around than Ryan and I opened up our I Pad and saw a cute little face.  We read through her file and had some questions regarding her blood work.  Both our hearts knew we were going to yes.  So we had to wait till Sat to talk to our doctor she confirmed that her blood work was fine.  We breathed a sigh of relief and Ryan said I wonder what its like to be in China for Christmas.  This was his way of saying he is saying yes.  So on Sunday Simi had called us to find out if we were saying yes.  I told her yes!!  Then 3 days later that right 3 days later we received LOA!! Not only did we receive LOA but it was also Ella Mei's 2nd Birthday!! So she got a mom and dad for her 2nd birthday and we received LOA which means we should have her in our arms by Sept or October.  Ella Mei is from Guangzhou SWI.  As far as we know she has been there the whole time.  We can't wait to meet her!!
